The need for waves…….
Today was my little sisters’ Birthday and she was 10 years old. It made me think back and remember how much fun being 10 years old was, no worries at all and literally just spending every minute of the day on the beach, all week, all summer. I spent more time in my wetsuit with sand on my face than in my clothes…. not much change now though I suppose!
The weather wasn’t too good so Bea turned the lounge into a ‘mini cinema’ and then we went to Tesco to buy popcorn and party dinner (birthdays are always a big affair in our house as there are so many of us!) We then sat down to watch one of the earlier Harry Potter films before having dinner and a long awaited cake!
Hopefully there’ll be some waves soon, haven’t been in the sea for what seems like days now because it’s been flat!
